The number of fantastic co-op games available on the service is ever-expanding, from adored indie gems to brilliant squad-based multiplayer blockbusters. It has become a fantastic place for gamers to try out new experiences that they would have otherwise missed among the often overcrowded new releases in any given year and allows you and a friend to try out a bunch of awesome games through a shared list that you both may have never experienced before. I think it's pretty evident even at a blush. Since others mentioned Hades (which I love), I'll say that there's no real comparison Hades has so much more going on in all regards. The next level is sand, and it's the same, but light brown instead of dark brown and purple. Brown walls, brown floor, and then the same few enemies that you'll fight over and over until you beat the boss. The first level is a cave, and every room is just. but the bulk of the game takes place in auto-generated dungeons that have absolutely no personality and no real substance. What I recall is that the hand-crafted parts of the game (like your home) have absolutely lovely pixel art and lots of charm. (Online co-op to be added in the future) STORY The story takes place in a distant land but copes with themes and emotions common to all of us: love and hope, longing and uncertainty, ultimately loss.
